Engagement platter and a Jewellery box

Hello!!Welcome to my blog.I made both the engagement platter and jewellery box out of waste cardboard boxes.I made the engagement ring platter from pizza box and toothpaste box. Jewllery box from Planner box and lock box.Below are the pics of those.

Here's my platter and jewelry box.:

I made the base of the engagement platter with two layers of pizza box and decoupaged with patterned papers.I cut the toothpaste box and made the 2 upper layer stand. The tooth paste box is painted with marine blue acrylic colors .Arch is also made from pizza cardboard and glued handmade paper to it.The arch is covered with quilled roses and 2 quilled flowers along with punched leaves. For the Center of the arch, I punched a circle and the background is chevron stamps  with Varna's creation stamps for the sentiment and itsy bitsy floral stamps.Colored with Staadtler water colored pencils and added punched flowers around it.
Top most layer is a pyramid box opened at one end like a window for keeping rings and I made these with the help of Dr.Sonia's tutorial http://cardsandschoolprojects.blogspot.in/2013/09/how-to-make-pyramid-school-project.html .I usually follow her product reviews and buy that product. This time followed her tutorial for this pyramid box.Check out her website http://cardsandschoolprojects.blogspot.in/ .She's having a huge giveaway celebrating 5 million page view.

Middle layer is embellished with thermocol balls and I made a quilled miniature couple along with handmade paper flowers .

The base layer ,I did a Diya with quilling and painted it with pearl golden acrylic colors.I made a Quilled cake and some paper flowers.Ends are embellished with rhinestones and quilled roses.
