Hi All!Welcome to my blog!!For the very first time tried my hands on mixed media..I took an ivory card stock and applied gesso(home made). After drying I made texture paste(even that's homemade) and applied on it .Made some random textures by tapping and for the bottom i gave the wood grain effect with toothpick. After it gets dried I gave coloring with pearl metallic acrylic colors .I used baby pink ,lavender, green, turquoise blue metallic acrylic colors mixed with enough water and colored it.
I made clay embellishments (flowers and butterflies) and applied acrylic colors .For butterflies I addeed two shaded colors.Candle is done in quilling.I took american crafts ribbon ,dipped it in the color palette and added it to the card.Used the ribbon for the mini banner with washi tape too.
Coming to sentiment part I used just rite celebration stamps on a green card stock fuzzy cut it and distressed the edges with spiced marmalade.Added a washi tape banner..Masquerade is hand cut by me(For masquerade credit goes to Karthikha-She corrected me to get the correct shape so many thanks to her) and added some pearls to it.Here's my card:
